"Es ist angerichtet" - Dieses Mal gab es leckeren Hackbraten

Wachtberg Niederbachem. Bereits zum dritten Mal in diesem Jahr fand am 19.November 2017 wieder unsere traditionelle Aktion „Jugendliche kochen für Senioren“ statt. Pünktlich um 12.30 Uhr stand die Vorspeise des 3-Gänge-Menüs auf dem Tisch im Haus St. Gereon in Niederbachem.

Am Tag zuvor hatten sich 7 Jugendliche getroffen um das Menü vorzubereiten. Kartoffeln wurden gekocht, die Zutaten für den Hackbraten klein geschnitten und gemischt und in mühevoller Handarbeit kleine Bratapfel-Küchlein gebacken. Am Sonntag wurden dann die letzten Vorbereitungen abgeschlossen und alle Gerichte fertig gebacken und gekocht.

21 Senioren hatten sich zuvor angemeldet und bekamen folgendes Menü serviert: Vorspeise: Feldsalat mit Speck und Orangenfilets; Hauptgang: Hackbraten mit Kartoffelpüree und Gemüse; Nachtisch: Bratapfel-Küchlein mit Vanilleeis. Natürlich durften auch alle Helfer selber probieren und sich satt Essen.

Besonders der Hackbraten, der mit getrockneten Tomaten und Möhren zubereitet und anschließend mit Blätterteig ummantelt wurde, kam besonders gut bei allen an.Wiedereinmal war die Aktion ein voller Erfolg und alle Senioren waren begeistert von dem leckeren Essen und freuen sich schon auf die nächste Einladung im nächsten Jahr.
